What is co-managed IT?
Co-managed IT is a service model where an external provider partners with your in-house IT staff rather than replacing them. The internal team remains the day-to-day point of contact. The external team provides specialized expertise, project capacity, after-hours coverage, and depth in areas the internal team cannot cover alone.
How is co-managed IT different from fully managed IT?
Fully managed IT means the provider handles all IT functions. Co-managed IT splits responsibilities between an internal IT team and an external provider. The split is defined by what each side does best. Most Houston SMBs with one or two IT staff prefer co-managed because it preserves internal context while adding capacity.
Will our internal IT staff feel threatened by co-managed IT?

What does co-managed IT cost compared to hiring more IT staff?
