Are we too small for a managed IT provider?
CinchOps works with Houston-area companies of 10 to 200 employees. Below about 10 users, a full managed plan is usually more than a business needs. The clearer signal than headcount is whether technology problems are landing on someone whose actual job is something else.
What does managed IT cost for a company our size?
Flat rate, $100 to $250 per user per month. A 25-person company typically invests $2,500 to $6,250 monthly, a 50-person company $5,000 to $12,500. Most clients save around 30% against staffing the same coverage in-house. It is month-to-month, with no hidden fees or cancellation penalties.
Can we start with security only and add the rest later?
Yes. Service packages are built around what you actually need rather than a fixed tier, and plenty of clients start with the security and backup layer while keeping day-to-day support internal. Adding managed support later does not require re-onboarding.
What happens when we grow quickly?
Billing is per user, so cost tracks headcount instead of arriving as a step change. Employee onboarding and offboarding is part of the service. The infrastructure decisions that usually break at 40 or 60 people - identity, file access, network capacity - get planned before you hit them, not after.
Do we get a real person or a ticket queue?
Both, in the right order. Requests come into a tracked queue so nothing gets lost, and they are answered in under 15 minutes. Serious issues go to a named engineer out of the Katy office. For anything strategic, Shane is reachable directly - it is a small enough company that the owner still takes the call.
